You were using PPG...more viscuous -> less flow
It was not just cold, it was D*** COLD -> more viscuous -> less flow
The radiator was clogged with stop leak -> less flow

Putting all this together begs the question...Did the events conspire to set up a situation where the fluid in the engine never had a chance to get out till it was boiled away through the pressure cap?
