Has anyone ever seen double sided heat sinks?

If you check the alcoa stock shapes book I believe you will find extrusions with fins on both sides. Unless you have an unusual environment, (like a ultralight where the engine is exposed) you would be better served to just fit a larger oil cooler. The transfer area of a proper heat exchanger does a better job of heat transfer. But then you already knew that.
