My induction system sucks, (pun intended) but it is all I have for the
moment.  A butterfly valve feeds a 3" fore and aft pipe to short 4" runners
(x4) feeding the 6 ports.  The temperature sensor is about 3" from the aft
end and on top of the pipe.
Does anyone have an idea of what effect this arrangement will have on
anything?

I have recently completed the wiring of my EC2, and if my memory serves me
correctly, Tracy specifically says to mount the temperature sensor upstream
of
the throttle body.  I took this to indicate that he has accounted for the
temperature drop at low throttle settings.  -- Mark S.
