Joe,
It might work with an adjustable prop like an IVO that goes up to 104 pitch. The rpm I get at wot with the 2.17 at high altitude cruise will tell. If I have pitch to spare, then a 2.85 might be ok. That'll have to wait until I get my T04 turbo installed.
Regards,
John

Subject: [FlyRotary] Props

I have been watching the progress of those using the 2.85 PSRU with a large prop and was wondering how this combination could be made to work on a canard pusher.  I am thinking of going with a P port engine so the 2.85 ratio would work, but i don't think the AC can handle a long prop due to ground clearance and rotation.  Any thoughts?  Thanks for any help.
