That being said, has anyone
come up with the real spec for the appropriate turbo, ie, T-what? turbine
trim? compressor trim?
I had a conversation with Greg Richter about this. He had studied the
compressor maps and had extensive discussions with Turbonetics to come up
with the T04 inconel setup he installed. I seem to rtemember him saying it
cost about $3500. I think his setup was as close to scientifically thought
out as you can get. As I mentioned before, he welded up the wastegate and
used a pop-off valve, but then the inconel turbine was designed to handle
continuous operation. Does anyone know who bought Richter's engine?

I'm installing a stock '91 turbo with the two lever approach as described by
Jim.
