My pump is much more powerfull (pulse wise) than the stock pump. It buzzes loud enough to hear above the engine at idle (2,000 RPM). I was not aware of the above warning.
 
 
Thanks for the comments Lynn.  One other question came to mind though.  I have a remote sump on the single rotor, so the line from the stock oil pump will be "suction" to some extent.  I believe you have a dry sump system, so you probably have the same situation, only worse perhaps.  Are you using these Aeroquip hoses for suction as well?  
 
The spec for suction service on a -12 size is 18" of vacuum.  In a quick search, I wasn't able to find a spec for normal AE601/701 high pressure hose.  Maybe it's the same.  I'm not quite as worried about this, since the head pressure will be about the same as if the engine had a normal pan, and I'll run it plenty on the ground to make sure it's OK.
