Overvoltage control (help Ed A)
If anyone has an extra $219 laying around,
and wants a brand new alternator, you can consider the #2026 "ignition
activated" Ultra Mini from East Coast Automotive Electric. http://www.ecae.com/alt1.html
This, in my mind is the best of both
worlds. It's internally regulated, and also has a wire that will turn the
unit on and off at any time. It's also tiny, just like the other ND type
alts.
