OK Rusty, I'm old and easy to confuse. One week you are selling
your RV because you're not a cross country person. Next week you're
talking about doing Alaska in an aircamp??? Now that's a cross
country!
I say these things just
to confuse you Bernie :-)
First, I'm pretty glad
that no one jumped on my engine or RV-3 offer, because I've talked myself out of
selling it for now. Rest assured that it will eventually get sold, but I
tend to work up to selling things like this in stages. The first stage is
deciding that if someone jumps on the offer, I'll sell it, but then if they
don't, I keep it. That's where we're at now. Each time I get the
urge to sell it, the attempt will get more serious, until eventually, I'll just
want it gone, and will practically trade it for a cheeseburger and a couple
beers. We're nowhere close to that yet (Todd) :-)
Second, I never said I
wanted to fly cross country in the AirCam. I would like to have an AirCam,
and I happened to find some nice pics of someone who did want to fly it cross
country.
I flew my RV6A to Alaska in 01, super trip but that was over 50 hours
in at 190 mph.
You're a better man than I
:-)
Bernie, modifying cowling for more exit airflow area.
Bet you won't have as much as I do
:-)
Cheers,
Rusty (all single rotor parts
cleaned, and ready for assembly)
