Bill; I have been looking for your comments
on the race into Oshkosh from Dayton last Sunday, i.e. engine temperatures,
speed and fuel burn. I made about 8 passes to the flightline at Oshkosh
and missed everyone. Did talk with one of the Power Sport guys in a
RV from California and he stated that his cruise was 175 with a fuel burn of
10.3 gph, seems like alot of fuel at that speed. He was trying to
impress me that he had a 225 mph airplane. No comment on this from me as
my Tailwind is yet to run.
