David
I've only done the RX8 rotor so far, I don't know what the other old one is for sure, so unless your using a RX8 rotor the info is useless to you.
Also I want to do the experiment a couple of times to verify the figures.
I can send you all the info on how I calculated the ratio from soluble oil to motor oil under separate cover if you like.

Chaps,
I have just completed an interesting experiment with the volume of a couple of different rotors.

The RX8 rotor does in fact hold more oil than it's predecessors, as one expects from the Mazda blurb - between an old rotor( sorry don't know what it is) and the RX8 rotor, there is a 5.26 oz difference
Hi George, so what is the volume, or better, the mass of the oil carried in the rotor for balance purposes? BR, Dave McC
