Thanks, Rusty....Actually, I just put it on the
back burner, because if I was not able to get my cooling system optimized, there
would be no need to put in an engine putting out more heat and horsepower.
Now that the cooling system is working to my satisfaction, I can now think about
putting together the street ported 4-port with NA rotors and housings.
First, however, I want to fly my plane for a while and enjoy looking out the
window instead of staring at the temp gages. I need to do a little
more flying to see if I am satisfied with the power, ie....raise the
nosewheel, try cruising at higher altitudes, etc.
My wife, Carol and I will
be attending Charlie's fly-in, but will be traveling in our motor home (so
we will have all the creature comforts while traveling)....still uncertain
about landing on the grass strip with my 4" nosewheel. Take care.

Sounds great Paul. Congrats. Now you've got a
couple weeks to fly off your time and go to Charlie's fly-in
:-)
I haven't heard anything about the new engine
recently. Are you more satisfied with the power now, or just put it on
the back burner?

tomorrow)
