Hi Bernie,
I had a day when I could not understand why the engine would not start. Later I found out that the batteries were not fully charged, and the starter was pulling the voltage down below 9V. It was cranking OK, but would not fire. Connected the charger and went for lunch. When I came back, it fired right away..
