I hate to stir the pot again, but using fuses instead of circuit brakers is asking for dead stick landings.

I second that. I use all circuit breakers all plainly visible. I know what Bob Knuclles is preaching, but I feel better using CB.

I concur with that, Buly. In the military, I have sucessfully reset the circuit breaker for the landing gear motor on a King Air, and also sucessfully reset the circuit breaker for our comm radio, which allowed us to complete our IFR approach without having to go though all the lost commo procedures.  Of course there are items that once lost cannot be brought back online, but on the other hand, there are occasions that an item can be brought back online. We were taught to reset the circuit breaker, and if it failed again to consider it lost.  Paul Conner
