Dave,

Hopefully you can glean what you need from the website.  If not e-mail me off of it.

Can I get you to share some of the speeds, rpms, estimated power with the warp drive? They recommended a 4 blade for me (but that was an estimated 250 hp max and 220 mph max. Unfortunately this is fixed pitch, not in flight adjustable.

Rusty and all,

Sorry this is late, but I just dug through 635 e-mails.  (Note to self - check list more often!)  Really wanted to see you and Ed at Sun-n-Fun, but we did manage to collect 5 rotaries in one place.  Someday maybe we can get a whole section!

The 3-blade is working so well that I have decided to leave it on, crappy spinner and all.  It is not quite as fast as the wood prop, but is so much smoother that I can't stand the wood props anymore. (Maybe I should learn how to balance them.)

I just added an update to my cooling situation at http://www.weslick.com/cooling.htm for those who are interested.  Also put up my prop comparison charts and a request for deep thinkers to look over the data.

Did you ever sell this prop.. and also I need to ask how your experience was with the Warp Drive...I was doing an archive search and came back across this post/thread

Hi Dave,

I sold that prop to Bill Eslick, who was having fun playing with it last I heard.  I think it was probably the smoothest prop I've used yet, but didn't have the top end speed of Tracy's old prop.  I never had the Warp tapered, which is supposed to help the top end, so it may not be fair to say the Warp won't go fast.  Maybe Bill can give us an update from the testing he's done.

Cheers,
Rusty (still shooting for 3000 fpm climb)
