System
-it looks like if you had used the
muffler where the inlet is on the edge rather than the middle, and didn't
attempt to have the muffler perfectly down the center, that you could
eliminate an elbow. I'm not being critical of what you have, you do
beautiful work, just throwing out an idea since you haven't finish welded
things yet. Isn't it surprising how much those mufflers weigh? It
appears you have the same one I am going to use, except I have 3 rotors!
Wonder how long it will last? My welder warned me that after the exhaust
is coated inside and out that it is very difficult to repair any cracks.
So I have decided to wait before any jet-coating gets done. Nice flanges, they
look familiar!

Subject: [FlyRotary] Exhaust
System
Charlie,
Here are some photos of my exhaust setup using
a Spintech muffler, and a 2 into 1 adapter. Tough to get it down between the
motor mounts, etc. Still have to have it finished welded and put retainer
tabs on the joints, although I don't think anything can go
anywhere.
Have you obtained an engine yet?
