Note Paul that he didn't say thatthere was anything wrong with the unit, only with theway he had it installed on a street application. We normally have the opposite problem, and need under drive pulleys etc.. We are talking about a separate e-shaft mounted unit here. Not the combo waterpump drive. You could always run that as your second (backup) alternator.
