Yes, Jack...we have a lot of builders and engineers on this forum to draw beneficial information from.  At first, I was afraid to ask the usual "dumb question", but this group is orientated to the further development of the rotary, and not on an ego trip like some lists...and on this list, you are allowed to disagree without getting banned or exiled. Thanks again to all who have helped me get my rotary up and running. Couldn't have done it without you.  Paul Conner

I just want to say thanks for bringing this problem to light. I feel like I've just gone through a very extensive seminar on fuel systems ('cause I have), and I've learned more about the subject than 50 years of working on cars ever taught me. Incredible levels of insight. Sure am glad I signed up for the course.
 
Thanks for the courage and skill, and thank you for exposing all this talent. AND thanks to the talented folks who contributed.

Just an update regarding my heat soak/vapor lock fuel issue and fuel system changes. I have successfully duplicated my vapor lock fuel issue several times (on the ground this time). There is little to no doubt that what I experienced was heat related.
