I just want to say thanks for bringing this problem
to light. I feel like I've just gone through a very extensive seminar on fuel
systems ('cause I have), and I've learned more about the subject than 50 years
of working on cars ever taught me. Incredible levels of insight. Sure am glad I
signed up for the course.
Thanks for the courage and skill, and thank you for
exposing all this talent. AND thanks to the talented folks who
contributed.

Just an update regarding my heat soak/vapor lock
fuel issue and fuel system changes. I have successfully duplicated my
vapor lock fuel issue several times (on the ground this time). There is little
to no doubt that what I experienced was heat related.
