To be honest, one of the big factors in owning you own plane, that is kept
in a hangar, is to be able to cut down on pre-flight. Draining the fuel
with the current high-flow system in place I saw as a useless chore.
External pre-flight is now down to checking the tires, checking the flap
actuators and control movement.
I took the drains out because they stick out into the airstream and I was
not using them. I put in aluminum plugs instead. It is a simple matter to
switch back.
