Need to nail down some basics here.  Are you using the Forward planet set or the Rear?   Forward can be mixed with various forward versions but don't mix  F.  &  R. gears.  
 
Also, nothing is ever simple. The above is just a general rule.   There are a LOT of different versions of the C6, E4OD, etc.

The ring gear is fixed.  Prop shaft is driven off the planet gear
assembly.  It is a 3-planet gear set.  I seem to remember Joe saying
that it was the Ford gearset.  But that was a long time ago, and it all
seems so fuzzy now.  Jeesh, am I getting old?

Tracy, can you swap out the planet set willy-nilly like that, or is it
asking for trouble sho-nuff?
