        Nice work on the design. I would however agree with Finn that it is better to mount the components close to the board. This not only looks better but mechanical strength is increased which is important in a vibrating environment (especially with a Lyc:-). When it is not possible to mount close to the board I usually use a dab of hot melt glue as it is easy, accurate to place with a gun and is a perfect insulator. On a more crowded board it is also important to keep them close to the board to prevent any chance of leads contacting inadvertently.
