Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Digital Fuel
Monitoring System
Hi Bob,
Have not given it serious thought.
Would depend on how much demand, cost, etc. Also want to see how it
works out. The previous one I designed and built of analog parts worked
fine - but, this digital design world is new to me. So, I need to test it
thoroughly on the aircraft - particularly the "automatic" calibration
algorithm I have in the software code.
However, if I did decide to sell it would
probably be mid-late summer time before it happened. The current design
is somewhat labor intensive in cutting apart the board into the front panel
and Chip board, placing "sockets and plugs" on each board so they can plug
together, etc. I would need to look a ways to simplify it a bit and I am
certain the layout of the board could be improved. Already, Finn has
pointed out my resistors are mounted by their "legs" {:>).
