Bob, I removed the stock spring and rigged a straight coil spring to pull
open the throttle if the cable got disconnected. I also removed all the
unnecessary metal I could.

it to me, they were set up stock to close the butterfly. I've changed
it around so that the butterfly opens, but it isn't real solid yet.
