Now, that is tacky.  But, It does sure give you canard types a reason to re-think any un-necessary installation, doesn't it ?  Better screw that sucker on their kinda tight.

I just ordered the finned oil cooler cover.  There is just no way that the air could not hit the filter on it's way out of the cowling....Only one way out, and the oil filter is right in the way.  So, what the heck....it can't hurt.  
 
 
If it comes off and goes through your prop it will hurt :-)
