No, the manual doesn't specify shielded cables, but lack of shielding is
what Tracy thinks is causing my data to get scrambled on the way from the
panel to the EC2 on the firewall.

Have you checked the graph of MAP values lately?
Don't have that version of software, or the EM-2
Where is your EC2 mounted?
Cabin side of the firewall over the center spar.
Do you have shielded wire to the control panel? no - I don't remember any
requirement for stranded. If any were specified I would have
used stranded,
but I don't recall any. I have several runs of shielded wire in
the plane,
but I think that they are all in the avionics. I could be wrong
though, it
has been a while since I wired it.
