Finn, I've been saving websites and e-mails re using manual battery
switches. Haven't bought one yet. How do you mount it on the battery
terminal? It that the way it comes or did you buy some aftermarket hardware
and make a gadget for putting it directly on the terminal?
Or, do you mean "mount it 'at' or 'near' the terminal"? i.e., short (few
inches at most) battery cable with std round hole end that goes on the
terminal and other end with ring terminal to go onto the post of the manual
switch, like the one at www.batterymart.com, part number ACC-41860?

Funny you should mention that. That's what I use as a master switch
(this one is a round one with a red plastic "key"), mounted directly on
the battery plus terminal. No master contactor (solenoid) to drain the
battery. >
