Paul,
What is the thickness of the motor mount plate?  This looks similar to what I am atempting to make.
Wendell

Hey, Rusty....I braved the 50 degree cold temperatures and went to the hangar and removed the cowling to take these pictures of the fitting I substituted for the banjo fitting. Originally, I took a file and made the head of the motor mount bolt about 1/3 shorter to allow more clearance for the banjo fitting.  After I replaced the banjo fitting with this adapter, I found I had a little more clearance. The Earl's aluminum female swivel is fairly thin-walled, and there is more daylight between the fitting and motor mount bolt now. I should have taken this picture from a lower angle so you could see that there is about 1/8" distance between the motor mount bolt and the new hose/fitting combination. Hope this helps.  Paul Conner
