Paul,
What is the = thickness of the=20 motor mount plate?  This looks similar to what I am atempting to=20 make.
Wendell

Hey, Rusty....I braved the 50 degree = cold=20 temperatures and went to the hangar and removed the cowling to take = these=20 pictures of the fitting I substituted for the banjo fitting. = Originally, I=20 took a file and made the head of the motor mount bolt about 1/3 = shorter to=20 allow more clearance for the banjo fitting.  After I replaced the = banjo=20 fitting with this adapter, I found I had a little more clearance. The = Earl's=20 aluminum female swivel is fairly thin-walled, and there is more = daylight=20 between the fitting and motor mount bolt now. I should have taken this = picture=20 from a lower angle so you could see that there is about 1/8" distance = between=20 the motor mount bolt and the new hose/fitting combination. Hope this=20 helps.  Paul Conner
