Finn....please don't fly over my house with that
motor mount !!! I am only kidding. Paul Lamar also said my
Conversion Convepts mount would fail. I showed it to the guy who designed
my aircraft, and he thought it was great. I also showed it to an engineer who
works at Teledyne. He also thought it was fine, as did several other
builders. I often inspect my motor mount for cracks, however, no
matter WHO built it. Take care. Paul Conner

Been a long time, but think it was 3/4" .049 and a single 1/2"
.063 down accross intake/exhaust to front left mount point.
Of course,
according to Paul L I should have fallen out of the sky many times. My engine
mount is not safe. Then, he may have a point - doing my engine mount is how I
learned to weld (or braze - I'm not quite sure :).
