I assume that builders are using coolers out of a salvage car.  Is there a facility that cleans and tests these coolers?  If the oil is not changed regularly some of the coking due to crankcase oil injected into the chambers could find its way to the cooler.  What's a good price for a useable 2nd gen cooler?  I am looking for one as the one I have looks like it was in heavy off road use.    Thanks for any help.
