According to the MicroTech installation manual....connect the black wire to the oxygen sensor. If you do not have an oxygen sensor, disregard. It will have no effect on any other system/settings.   Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem.  Paul Conner, rotary powered SQ2000 with MicroTech ECU.

I was thinking about Paul's MicroTech, and wondered if it runs in closed loop mode, such that it uses the O2 sensor for mixture control.  If it does, then what will happen when leaded fuel is used, and the O2 sensor becomes slow to respond?  I'm guessing that Dave Atkins flew his with the same computer, and he did enough cross country to be forced to use 100LL.  Probably it's not an issue, but I just thought I'd throw it out as something to think about.
