Rusty: My only experience has been on my test bed engine that I can get out, cuss and walk away from when things don't go right; but, I am pretty well convinced these little things are almost indestructible as long as it make 6 pops when turned over and has some kind of oil pressure.  That was one reason I sort of agreed with those who said stop the leak, put oil back in it and see how things go before taking the wings off.  That is still my thoughts.  If it don't work right while sitting on the ground with plenty of oil and coolant, then kick it, cuss it and take it apart. Works for me; but, then again, it ain't my butt in there when it gets off the ground. That's purely for you to decide whether to even try it. Rots a ruck !

I've been thinking more about the engine, and wondering what the chances are that there's any damage inside.
