to hear about no oil in the sump. That probably means at least a
re-build. Did you pull the prop through to see if it was binding and what
the compression was like? Don't get too frustrated. At least its not
a lyc and going to cost $10k to rebuild (like just happened to an RV-6 owner
here who forgot to re-secure his oil fitting). At least the plane is not
dented. The oil will clean off, parts of the engine will be replaced, and
you will someday climb >3000fpm. :-)
