        Did you measure the delta P by measuring the pressure in the front and back of the evap cores?  Before chopping up fiberglass it would be interesting to measure the pressures in the oil evap core and compare it to the pressures of the water evap cores.  Just a thought.

Nope, didn't measure it.  I don't have a spare ASI, nor do I have a hole in my firewall big enough to route the hoses.  
 
  *****   That TAS in the EM2 can be used. That isn't your primary ASI is it?  Drill a hole!
 
Since it doesn't work like it is, there's no use in preserving the current scoop.  Modifying it to increase the size is about 5% of the effort that would be required to make any other oil cooler change (remounting, changing coolers, etc), so it's worth going ahead as a test. 
 
  ****  still hard to believe that 28 sq in isn't enough.........
