Do rotaries driven on the
highway have carbon problems? Anybody out there that's got 150k miles on
a stock, highway-use-only RX-7?

My beloved 1988 RX-7 (Roxie) finally expired after 123K miles due to stuck apex seals.  Engine was in excellent health other than that.  Previous owner put on 116K of those miles.  My frequent 120 MPH dashes were apparently not enough to erase the effects of 4 stroke oil injection.

Almost  exactly my experience ! My 88 RX7 stuck a seal at 117K........ That is the reason
a Chev 4.3L V6 now lies in the engine compartment.........That was OK though as I think
13B's are wasted in autos.........It was just the excuse I needed to add it to my growing
collection of potential A/C engines !!
