Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: idle adjustment

I did think of one additional possible solution.  Each of the barrels on the TWM has a small air inlet with a pin.  I have these closed all the way because I thought it might help with the idle.  However, I now wonder if maybe that air inlet is for the purpose of atomizing the fuel....  Does anyone know?  Maybe I will try to open them up a little.

Dave;

As I understand it, these just provide adjustable air bypass for the throttle plate, and is primarily for more precise idle adjustment, and transition coming off low speed idle; so may not be very relevant in our application. It is probably good to have them open a bit.  I have mine set at 2 turns from fully closed.

I haven’t asked to folks at TWM, so if you really want to know, give ‘em a call.
