About 3 years ago I mentioned here that an article in the hot rod magazine
stated that the electric pump would gain 12-15 hp.  I don't recall if this
was on a 300 hp engine, or a 1000 hp engine At the time most comments were
very negative, so it has been interesting watching this subject moving on
towards fruitation.  Tonite I tried to find the thread on HR Mag site, but
is not an easy site to search on with the telephone hookup.  A look in the
Summitt catalog doesn't list any specific hp savings, on that there is one,
so it looks like a call to one of the manufactures may be the only source
for the information.  JohnD
