That would be mode 1.  -100 would not be unusual for an idle MAP correction.

I was afraid someone would ask that.  Its been so long ago, and I don' have the EC-2 instructions with me, I can't tell you what mode it was.  (I could look it up when I get home from work later today)  I do remember the instructions stating that you could adjust a max of +/- 127 steps.  There is a second method of adjustment if you need more than that.  I was very surprised that I had to go as far as I did to get it to idle properly, with the mixture knob centered in the 12 o'clock position at the same time.  I'm sure I'll have to some more tweaking when I can actually load the engine.  (Tracy mentions that you shouldn't even attempt tuning without a load on the engine... Oops, sorry Tracy.)
