Not true, if you have the cold start wiring per Tracy. It'll double the
fuel to the other set, which could result in over rich, thus rougher running. If
switching the cold start on has the same effect, this is what's going on
here.
Another thing to try is
putting a load (like a headlight bulb) on the various circuits to test for weak
connections.
Did I mention that I
tried all of the above before sending my PCM back to Tracy to have the mixture
pot resoldered to the board.... Don't blame the equipment - I mounted it
badly.
