Hi Rusty,
I'm glad for you, that the damage was no worse. Looking at the "film" coming from the Pensacola area, with aircraft stacked like derelict autos in a wrecking yard, I wasn't holding out a lot of hope for your situation.
I guess it's hard to see it that way now, but compared to a lot of your neighbors, you've been blessed.

Greetings,
Well, we survived Ivan, and there's plenty of damage, though things could certainly be worse. We had sustained winds of 100-110 mph Wed night, and gusts of 130+. House damage is as follows:
- screen room down about midnight (got some video because we still had power)
- new vinyl privacy fence down
- about one third of our shingles gone (minor roof leaks and ceiling damage)
- 3 oak trees down (not on house amazingly) [snip ...]
So that's it. Could be better, and could be worse. Rusty (won't be online as much as usual, so John's still safe)
