Ah, hate to see a young guy with so many things on his mind that he mislays such important information in his mind {:>).

Right now my left radiator has an opening of 10 sq inches for the 96 sq inch core, we will see when I hopefully fly sometimes this week (IVAN permitting)  how that goes.  The right one I only reduced down to 18 sq inch for a total of 28 sq inch for my two radiators.  That should certainly press the "press to test button" on inlet area.  Fortunately, my ducts are interchangeable, so if it doesn't work I pull two pins and replace them with ones that have worked in the past.  With my static at 5400-5600 I won't be producing any more HP at take off, so I should do OK.  If temps get too high then once around the pattern and Land. {:>)

but the performance of my oil cooler with a 22 sq inch inlet opening has worked fine for my power output.

Hey, I could swear you told me to shoot for around 12 sq inches of area for my oil scoop?  Trying to handicap the competition :-)

Rusty (let's see your temps when you get the C drive optimized)
