Subject: [FlyRotary] Injectors not firing

I wonder if anyone out there can shed any light on the following.

I installed the EM2 and now I have no attempt to fire. The plugs are dry after 5 mins cranking. I have good spark on leading and trailing plugs, there's fuel at the rail, good fuel pressure, and 12V at the injectors.  I haven't changed the injector wiring except to tie in the EM2 injector sensor wire.

Any ideas?

That’s a tough one to diagnose.  If the wiring is correct, one wouldn’t expect connection of the EM2 to have any effect on injector firing.  The lead to the EM2 from EC2 is just a serial data feed.

First check that you have the injector switched on J.  Check ground connections, especially the EC2 ground pin.  I’ve never tried this; but I’m told that a regular timing light will flash using an inductive pickup on the injector lead.  Maybe you find out if the pulse is getting there.

Good luck.
