I second the Jennings bit.. the hotel has its own tie down pad...separate from the main ramp. There is also a restaurant next door.. Kettle/Denny's or something.. but its not a bad deal.. been there once for $100 pancakes

FWIW, I always figured on going to Jennings, LA if that was out of the way of harm at the time.  There's a Holiday Inn right on the field.  It's right on I-10, and I've driven by the place on a number of occasions, but never flown in.
