Subject: [FlyRotary] alternator LED
Hi, all. I just returned from Autozone, where I
purchased a package of 3
red LED's meant for automotive use. They came
pre-assembled with an inlineresistor that has shrink tubing around it,
so I can't tell what colors are
on the resistor. My assumption was that since it
is made for automotive use,
it might be OK to use for my alternator warning
LED indicator?
The instructions say to connect the black
wire to ground, and theother wire with the resistor to the 12v source.
Is it possible that I
stumbled upon something ready-made that will work
for me? You just drill a
7/32 hole in your panel and it snaps into place. It would be great if this
is what I need. Any and all comments are of
course appreciated. PaulConner, 13b powered SQ2000
You're home free, Paul. Perfect solution. Which
section of the stored did you find it in?
