Ok, I though that it might be.
I found a way of getting them off without the hole as I figured with my luck I
would drill all the way through. But, you are right that Grey sealant
must stick with hundreds of lbs. of force.

Feel free to
tell us what your method is :-) I believe Tracy said he
puts a very light coat of oil on one surface so it won't stick.
I'm sure that would work, but I keep chickening out when it comes time to
try it. For some silly reason, I keep thinking that I'm never going to
have to remove the drive again :-)
