I got out for a flight tonight (finally) and had a chance to try out my E-Boost controller from TurboSmart. So far it's disappointing as it seems to control based on differential pressure only and not absolute pressure as desired. I do need to do some further testing and experimenting with the set points, but it's not encouraging.

Sounds like nothing's working right these days.  So far, one owner (my RX-7 buyer), the factory, and your dealer(s) have all said that it was an absolute pressure device, so it must be.  Before you get too discouraged, email the manufacturer.  They were completely open to hearing about aircraft use of their controller, and I'm sure they'll help.

Good luck,
