The standby B&C was repaired last year after some windings failed. Then the primary failed and I found all the diodes failed and it was obvious some of the diodes had failed long ago. Now, I'm realizing that my G430W radio static has completely cleared up whereas before it was noisy and static ridden. Also, the Avidyne display of erratic EGTs is gone. It just hit me that I've found the problem(s). Something to keep in mind or check if similar issues develop. Paul Spruce Creek
