Would those brave souls who have practised "actual" engine out maneuvers in the IV  please
let me know what rate of descent vs fuel weight that they have experienced in the pattern.  Also pattern altitude
if much higher than sea level.
(My wife wont let me shut the engine down with the gear retracted--DRAT)
 
I have been using speed brakes and 800 RPM with prop full forward at 120 kts. and I usually practise
with less than 50 gal fuel.
 
Would like to get my rate of descent close to actual.
 
Help would be appreciated.
