John, Don't bother looking at your fingernails for signs of CO poisoning.
They will stay nice and pink. That's why it's so deadly. You don't turn blue
and you don't start to breath heavily. You just get a headache and then go
quietly to sleep. It is truely is a "silent killer". Without your monitor
you would have never known you were even exposed. When I got my monitor it
was on my desk in my office. It started beeping and was showing 200ppm. I
thought it was malfunctioning until I realized that the floor crew was
currently polishing the floor with a propane powered buffer! Treating
everyone to a big dose of CO. How nice!
