I am trying to find light-grey seat belts for my 360. I recently saw an advertisement in Sport Aviation for a company called Aircraft Belts - they claim to offer customized belts and a nifty software package to design them ("Build-A-Belt"). Summary - The internet software doesn't work So I ordered their CD software It is nice, but 1) you can't save it to file, so you have to recreate the assembly each time 2) apparently, you can design belts that they can't build 3) the descriptions of the end fittings are terrible (no bolt size, vague description of end fittings) But here is the really funny/sad part. I "designed" a very basic lap and shoulder belt - fixed end fittings, single clip-on type shoulder belt and standard lap belt, light grey webbing. I asked for the price to be quoted two ways: 1) with a standard "flip" type of latch (steel buckle, aluminum flip) 2) with their new "push button" latch (like most cars these days) Here are the prices: flip type = $232 each side, total $465! If you think that was bad how about this: push button = $937 each side, total $1,874 !!!!!! I asked if this was a joke, and was assured it was not. It is their new, premium product. That's premium alright. So, any thoughts on another source for grey belts that will fit my 360? And if you want to call these guys to get a good laugh, their number is 1-800-847-5651.
